Panadol
Release Sessions
Panadol goes beyond the pill to help people find a mindful moment of release with a unique series of meditation classes to help reduce stress which can lead to pain.
Brief
Panadol has been exploring ways to help people manage their pain that doesn’t solely require ‘taking a pill’. We were asked to activate their ‘Sound Of Release’ composition, a scientifically proven stress and pain reducing composition created in partnership with Musicologists, Physiologists and Neuroscientists, to create a new role for Panadol in people’s pain management routine.
Idea
Introducing Panadol Release Sessions, a unique meditation class held at Outernet for stressed-out Londoners instructed by a Mindfulness expert and combined soothing visuals and Panadol’s stress and pain reducing composition, ‘The Sound Of Release’.
Room to Breathe
For 3 months, Panadol had a presence at the newly opened Outernt building where we partnered with PixelArtworks to create an open to the public escape from the stresses of city life which can lead to physical pain. Combining calming visuals, areas to rest and Panadol’s ‘Sound of Release’, we were able to give Londoners a calming moment of release whenever they needed it.
QR Codes, part of the experience’s visuals, took users to Spotify to enjoy Panadol’s ‘Sound of Release’ anytime, anywhere.

We also wanted to help people manage their pain without ‘the oil’ by releasing and promoting Panadol’s ‘The Sound of Release’ on Spotify giving people the opportunity to find their own mindful moment of release - anytime.
